"The Lighthouse"
The Lighthouse is located in the charming coastal town of Sainte Maxime and has beautiful sea views of the Mediterranean and of Saint Tropez across the bay. The Lighthouse is set in a secure complex with swimming pool and is a short 3 minute walk from a sandy beach.
The Lighthouse is a small independent house, south facing, set over three floors, with sea views from every floor, and a private garden and patio with Weber gas barbecue. The top floor has a small study and a bathroom with a spa bath. The middle floor has a small double bedroom with a small bathroom with shower. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area.
The house sleeps two guests. Due to the character of the property, typically French we are told by French visitors (small and steep stairs with marble floors), good mobility is required. The pool is immediately next to, in front (south), of the property.
The Lighthouse is within easy walking distance of sandy beaches, Sainte Maxime port and town centre. A regular ferry runs between Sainte Maxime and Saint Tropez all year round. There is also a bus stop in the street just outside the property, serving the surrounding area.
Sainte Maxime provides the perfect combination of Riviera, with palm trees, promenade and a port with fishing boats and yachts, and Provence, with cobbled streets, squares shaded by plane trees, boules games and markets with antiques, local produce and wine. Sainte Maxime offers festivals all year round, often with fireworks and live music. Restaurants offer wonderful food ranging from fresh fish and seafood to meat dishes. Tastings at the local vineyards and the local olive oil farm offer memorable experiences and are strongly recommended.

Accessibility:
Nice airport is approximately one hour's drive via motorway, and public transport options include train and bus connections via nearby St Raphael. Toulon and Marseille airports are also well-situated in relation to the property.
Please note that guests sometimes pre-arrange for their dog or cat to join them during their stay, so if you have any pet allergies, please take this into account.
